Licenses: Intern

Bio:

I believe therapy can be a place where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself, talking openly about what is going on, and making sense of the experiences that have shaped you. As an MSW intern, I bring a warm, curious, and collaborative approach to therapy. Whether you are feeling stuck, moving through a major change, questioning what you want next, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, I want you to feel genuinely heard and supported in our work together.

Coming from a South Asian immigrant background, I have a deep appreciation for the ways culture, family, identity, and community can shape how we understand ourselves and relate to the people around us. Sometimes the expectations we grow up with continue to influence us long after we realize they are there. I am especially interested in helping clients explore family and generational patterns, navigate cultural and personal expectations, strengthen their relationships, and better understand how past experiences may be showing up in their lives today.

I also enjoy supporting clients through life transitions and periods of uncertainty. Change can bring excitement and possibility, but it can also leave us questioning our relationships, identities, priorities, or sense of direction. Therapy can offer room to slow down, explore those questions without judgment, and figure out what feels meaningful and authentic to you.

I do not believe therapy should look the same for everyone. I want to get to know you as a whole person, including the identities, relationships, communities, and experiences that matter to you. Together, we can build on your strengths, explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, and find approaches that fit your needs and goals. Most importantly, I hope to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself while working toward meaningful growth and change.
