Bio:
Hi there! My name is Chris, and welcome to our practice! I received my Master's Degree from Walden University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on marriage and family therapy. I work with all ages, and my approach is tailored to every patient's needs. While I specialize in working with couples, I love working with individuals, too!
We all grapple with issues of freedom, isolation, meaninglessness, and mortality. My practice draws from a unique blend of therapeutic approaches, life experience, and professional knowledge to help individuals navigate life's challenges.
Leveraging your unique strengths and evidence-based clinical practice, we work together to overcome the unique challenges you face arising from internal and external stressors, changes, decisions, and disease. The ultimate goal of my style is to move you toward a fulfilling life and overall wellness.
Some of the techniques we might use include talk therapy, stress management, coping skills, narrative writing/story-telling, mindfulness, kinesiology, and life-style improvements, to name a few. My ever-expanding toolkit allows me to help with a variety of needs including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and difficult life transitions.
With a background in teaching children, I also work with kids with all sorts of issues from ADHD to depression and self esteem and provide parenting training.
