Bio:
You know your life best. Therapy works when it becomes a collaborative process grounded in your lived experience. My role is to work alongside you with intention, helping you slow down, attend to your present moment experience, and develop insight into how you think, feel, and move through the world.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, and I offer a grounded and approachable style where clients across the lifespan can feel understood and supported without needing to perform or filter themselves. I prioritize creating a space that is emotionally safe and responsive, while still focused on meaningful movement. Using warmth, directness, and intentional use of humor, I help you examine patterns in your thoughts, beliefs, and emotional responses that may be maintaining distress or limiting growth. My work is informed by trauma responsive care and evidence based approaches, supporting you in building self awareness, strengthening coping, and making changes that hold over time.
My clinical foundation includes 15 years as a Certified Child Life Specialist working with pediatric patients and families in medical settings. In that role, I supported children, adolescents, and caregivers through illness, injury, trauma, crisis, grief, and loss using developmentally informed, play based, and psychoeducational interventions. That background continues to shape my clinical work, particularly in my work with children and teens, while also informing how I support adults. I remain attuned to how people process and express emotion across development, and I focus on helping clients regulate, make meaning of their experiences, and feel more grounded during periods of uncertainty or transition.
